The BMW 325i Cabriolet is one of the most beloved open BMW models of the 1980s. With its smooth 2.5-liter six-cylinder engine, rear-wheel drive and manual transmission, this cabriolet offers an authentic and comfortable driving experience, combined with the timeless design of the E30 series.
This example was first registered on 17/02/1988 and underwent an older professional restoration in the past. The bodywork is original and in a correct base condition, with visible signs of use. The body alignment is not perfect and the left front fender is loose at the bottom. The paintwork has been resprayed.
The underside is in an honest, original condition, with a small hole noted at the front left. The tires are partly in good condition; the rear tires date from 2023, while the front tires are worn and need replacement.
The interior shows clear signs of use. The convertible top is present but damaged and needs replacement. The carpets show local damage. On the driver’s side, the dashboard lower cover at leg level is missing. Parts of the center console are missing, but new parts are present in the trunk. The engine bay shows a good, honest condition; the hood insulation is missing, but a new insulation is included in the trunk.
The chassis number is original, correctly placed and clearly readable, located in the windshield gutter.
Mechanically, the car is in a correct base condition. The engine shows a good older restoration. Maintenance is required; according to a sticker, the timing belt was last replaced in 2007. The battery is in good condition and can last for several more years. The clutch and gearbox show signs of wear but are functional. The brakes and handbrake work well.
Electrically, the horn, windshield wipers and heating are operational. The dashboard is not functioning and the odometer is inoperative. The lighting functions correctly. The axles and suspension operate properly.
