The Indian 101 is widely regarded as one of the finest motorcycles ever built by Indian. Produced between 1928 and 1931, it features an improved frame, lower seating position and exceptional handling characteristics. Thanks to its longer and stronger chassis and improved engine mounting, it delivers a riding experience far ahead of its time.

The 1929 version includes several important improvements over earlier models, such as a new oil pump, centrally mounted electric headlamp with specific Indian design, reinforced handlebars and an improved rear brake.

This example stands out due to the presence of rare original components, including the original 1929 carburettor and an original Corbin speedometer with drive. It also features a unique exhaust used only in 1929, significantly enhancing its collector value.

This motorcycle comes from a private collection and has been restored and rebuilt to a very high standard, with no compromises made. Its overall condition and originality make it highly attractive for collectors and enthusiasts of pre-war motorcycles.

The Indian 101 from 1929 is rarely offered on the market, and certainly not in this condition and configuration. This makes it not only a unique riding machine but also a solid long-term investment.
