• Matching numbers
• Only 289 miles driven since restoration
• Recent professional restoration in excellent condition
• Heritage Certificate and Belgian Car-Pass present
The Austin-Healey 100 is one of the most recognisable British sports cars of the 1950s. With its low body, long bonnet and pure roadster character, the 100 became an icon of the post-war British sports car scene.
This example is an Austin-Healey 100/4 BN1 built on 31 March 1954. The official British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate confirms chassis number BN1/154168, engine number 1B/207144 and body number 2642. The car was originally built as a left-hand-drive North American Export model for the United States. From the factory, it was finished in Black with a red interior and black soft top.
This example has matching numbers and underwent a recent professional restoration. Only 289 miles have been driven since the restoration. Today, the car presents in a striking Blue-White colour combination. The body was professionally repainted, the soft top was renewed, and the underside, engine bay and engine present as new following restoration.
The interior was also beautifully restored and the carpets are in very good condition. The chassis number is original and clearly readable.
Technically, this Austin-Healey presents particularly well. All fluids are fresh and, according to the inspection, no maintenance is currently required. The clutch and gearbox operate perfectly and the overdrive works well. The brakes only require adjustment. The handbrake, lighting, axles and suspension all function correctly.
Our Oldtimerfarm inspection team has prepared an expert report for this car.
