The BMW 635 CSi (E24) is widely regarded as one of the most elegant Grand Tourers ever built by BMW. Its long bonnet, distinctive lines and classic inline-six engine give it the characteristic appearance that makes the E24 so highly appreciated today. The combination of the 3.4-litre engine and automatic transmission provides a comfortable and characterful driving experience.

This example was first registered on 14 July 1986 and is finished in its original BMW Alpinweiß (146) colour. The 3,430 cc inline-six engine produces 218 hp and is paired with an automatic transmission. The indicated mileage is only 34,681 km.

The car is in good original, unrestored condition. The bodywork is original and presents well, while the paintwork shows normal signs of use. The interior is also nicely preserved in its original condition and the carpets are in very good condition. The dashboard does have a crack.

From a technical point of view, several maintenance and improvement points should be addressed. The engine requires maintenance and currently does not idle smoothly. The automatic transmission and brakes work well. The handbrake requires repair because the left side is not functioning correctly. Several electrical functions also require attention.

The car comes with Japanese registration documents, an E705 document and a Belgian Car-Pass. The sale is subject to the 6% VAT scheme.

This BMW is now 40 years old. Depending on the country, this may make it eligible for registration as a historic vehicle and the associated tax or administrative benefits.
