The Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit perfectly represents British luxury and elegance of the 1980s. With its powerful 6.75-liter V8 engine, smooth automatic transmission and refined driving characteristics, this model delivered an unparalleled level of comfort, silence and effortless performance.
This example stands out thanks to its rare left-hand drive configuration, which is exceptional for the Silver Spirit. Importantly, this car is not of American origin, making it particularly attractive to European collectors.
The car was first registered on 10/10/1985 and is presented in an older original condition, in line with its age and character. The bodywork is original and shows normal signs of use. The paintwork displays visible wear.
The underside shows superficial corrosion and several oil leaks have been observed, including at the steering box and the gearbox oil cooler. The tyres are dried out and require replacement.
The interior is original and shows normal wear. The carpets and upholstery are consistent with the condition of a classic limousine from this period. The engine bay appears solid and original.
Mechanically, the Silver Spirit is in a correctly functioning base condition. The V8 engine starts and runs, and the automatic transmission shifts properly. The brakes and handbrake operate as expected.
Electrically, the dashboard lighting, heater and windscreen wipers function. The electrically adjustable passenger seat does not operate. Regarding lighting, the left high beam and left front side light do not work, and the high-beam switch is defective.
Play has been detected in the left front suspension joint, as well as slight play in the rear wheel bearings.
