In 1963, Maserati unveiled the Quattroporte. At first glance, it may not seem particularly unusual for a Maserati, given the luxury, prestige, and performance that it exudes once again. However, at the time, it was the fastest four-door sedan ever made. The initial goal was to bring a lightning-fast and luxurious mile-eater to the market. Despite some pauses to brew new inspiration, the Quattroporte has proven to be an enduring icon of which people just cannot seem to get enough. As of writing, the sixth-generation Quattroporte is being sold, and Maserati has remained true to its roots by sticking to its trademarking Italian luxury and power.

Maserati Quattroporte VI

Five previous generations, Maserati had had some ups and downs. For instance, the second generation which was produced under Citroën, was a down, with only thirteen units produced in total. The fourth generation on the other hand, impressed with its pioneering use of turbo technology, while the fifth generation won multiple design awards.

Maserati understands that mistakes are made to be learned from, and that all good things can be continued. Thus, in 2013 Maserati introduced the sixth-generation Quattroporte, featuring a powerful V6 or V8 engine built by Ferrari. Few words could fully express the lightning-fast and G-force flirting performance that it delivers. Wonderful Italian power.

The sixth Quattroporte exudes prestige, with its sleek design and proportions that seem to be measured to the golden ratio. The charismatic and aerodynamic Italian-sporty appearance is accentuated by an interior that enhances the Italian temperament that is designed for making long journeys. Functionality, charisma, and sportiness have combined to make the trident a ‘Holy Trinity’.
