Model year 1976, first registration 1977. Matching numbers • Original right-shift version •
Formerly part of a private collection of a German Ducati dealer. During this time it was perfectly preserved, kept in ready-to-ride condition but not used.
The Ducati 900 Super Sport of 1976–1977 is regarded as one of the most legendary motorcycles of all time – a purist’s machine that embodied the spirit of 1970s European racing in its rawest form. Inspired by the legendary 750SS that dominated Imola in 1972, the 900SS went even further: larger engine, desmodromic valve actuation, and Ducati’s signature bevel-drive. It quickly became the benchmark for uncompromising performance with true Italian soul.
This example has undergone a complete mechanical overhaul with no expense spared: new tires, brake discs, master cylinders, battery, fuse holder, gaskets and a full service including valve clearance adjustment and new spark plugs. The engine was carefully inspected and refreshed. Despite being ready to ride, it has not been used since the overhaul (due to the previous owner’s injury).
Collector-grade condition with all original hallmarks: numbered Conti silencers, Dell’Orto PHM 40 mm carburetors and the rare right-hand gear shift. Registered on bevelheaven.com.
